A special-needs school by the name of CARES helps with children with disabilities. Mentor High School is the only public high school young adults can attend. Private schools in the area include Lake Catholic High School, Mentor Christian School serving kindergarten through 12th grade, St. Mary’s Mentor available for kindergarten through 8th grade, and Mentor Heritage Christian Academy educating kindergarten through graduation as well.
Things to Do
The area is full of places to go that are not a long drive away. Being a suburb of Cleveland any downtown activities and venues are easily accessible and only a short drive away. The James A. The Headlands Beach State Park is home to the longest public swimming beach in all of Ohio. It ranks 7th largest when it comes to retail stores and restaurants which will give you plenty of shopping and dining choices. Great Lakes Mall is a great place to shop with many strip malls all around.
