Crestwood hosts students from Hiram Village and has been rated among the top school districts in the state. When it is time, there are other colleges nearby that will help keep kids close to home, including Kent State, Akron and Cleveland State.

Also in the area are hiking and bike trails, including Headwaters and Traveler’s Woods, and numerous campgrounds, like Kool Lakes and Roundup Lake. Troy also has, within two miles, two state preserves, Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve and Marsh Wetlands State Nature Preserve.
